A Termite Queen can live up to 30 years and can lay over 20,000 eggs every 24 hours. There are an average of 9 termite colonies per acre on the eastern shore, containing anywhere from 250 to 500,000 termites. These termites are the cause for over 5 billion dollars of damages in the U.S. each year. Home owners insurance will not cover this damage.
